Binion’s Gambling Hall & Hotel

If you want to experience the traditional Las Vegas, why not pay a visit to Binion’s Gambling Hall and Hotel in downtown Vegas. Since its opening in 1951, Binion’s has been the host of many a great occurrence in the history of gambling and poker. Binion’s wasn’t only the first casino to put in a carpet in its gambling rooms; it was also the first casino to accept games and bets more or less without upper limits, which certainly helped making Binion’s one of the most renowned brands in gambling. A lot of spectacular games have taken place on its carpets ever since. Most notably, the World Series of Poker (WSOP) started at Binion’s in 1970.

Binion’s is located on Fremont Street in the center of downtown Vegas. Two million light bulbs and over 500,000 watts of sound effects create a fantastic light show when the darkness settles over the Nevada desert. On top of the casino lies the Steak House, famous for its food.

Binion’s casino features a large selection of table games, such as single or double deck Blackjack craps with up to 5x Odds Bets, Roulette and Pai Gow Poker. The poker room spreads most of today’s popular poker games, including daily tournaments.

The nicest way of getting to and from Binion’s is probably by limo. Limos are not much more expensive that regular cabs, but they pick you up before the front door and spare you the hustle of standing in line.
