Las Vegas Natural History Museum

Las Vegas Natural History Museum exhibits the natural world of local Nevada wildlife, as well as ancient dinosaurs and marine life. There are exhibits, displays and live exhibitions. You can see mechanical dinosaurs, including the mean Tyrannosaurus Rex. There are exhibits representing the evolution of life from fish to dinosaurs. The Wild Nevada Room takes you right in the middle of the Mojave Desert with rattlesnakes, desert tortoises, bighorn sheep and burrowing rodents. You can also see live animals on displays such as a tarantula, a gopher snake, a boa constrictor and scorpions. The museum is opened from 9 am to 4 pm and the entrance costs $6 per person. You can take Bus 301 to get to the museum.
